概要
What happens when you know something isn’t right, but no one will listen?
In this episode, Dr Louise Newson is joined by Laura Dallison, who shares her experience of navigating hormonal changes while living with a physicaldisability. After a spinal cord injury, Laura began experiencing symptoms including brain fog, insomnia and recurrent infections, but was repeatedly dismissed and told she was too young for hormone treatment.
Laura explains how she had to advocate for herself to access hormones and how much they’ve improved her health. Together, they discuss why so many women are still not being heard and why having the right information can make all the difference.
