In this episode, I share why I'm starting Next Chapter Society, the challenges of making new friends and connections as an adult, and why this community is as much an experiment for me as it is for everyone who joins.

As a solo parent in my 40s, I've spent the last couple of decades focused on family, work and life. While I've got plenty of friends, the reality is that everyone is busy doing their own thing. I found myself searching for local opportunities to meet like-minded people, try new activities and expand my social circle—but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

So I decided to create it.

Next Chapter Society is a community for proactive adults across South Manchester who want to connect through shared interests, activities and experiences.

Whether you're into golf, padel, fitness, cinema, great food, wellbeing or local events, this is a place to meet good people and create new opportunities.
