In this episode we explore denim from two perspectives: the agricultural production of cotton fibers and the craft that turns denim fabric into custom made garments. Todd Straley a cotton farmer and ginner in west Texas helps us to understand everything that goes into growing, harvesting, and selling cotton and its byproducts. Ciano Farmer of Ciano Farmer Denim Company then tells us about his company where they create handmade denim garments that are made to last.
