The Albion Prophesy foretells the coming of a great sorcerer.
"The swirling diaphanous mists hid the desperate flight of the lone woman as she staggered between the oaks and elms of the ancient forest. The night was cold, and her threadbare cloak became sodden and even more torn and tattered as branches reached out to hold her, tearing at the cloak, ripping her pale skin. She clung to the bundle in her arms and narrowly avoided tripping over the roots of the giant trees. She knew she was being chased and her wide, hazel eyes darted from side to side, eyes that shared fear, panic and anger in equal measure. Shadows appeared and disappeared around her; the light of the full moon partially hidden by the forest canopy but providing enough light to tell her she was not alone, but who or what was close on her heels she knew not. The only sounds were the pounding of her heart, her quick breath, her heavy, rapid footfall, and the wind in the trees. A shadow flew at her feet. The caw of a crow, the harbinger of doom, echoed amongst the trees."
Urged by the voice of the Goddess Brigid, Arieen escapes the clutches of the sorcerer Mortren, and with her baby, reaches the safety of the Oak Grove. There, the Goddesses Brigid, Ceridwen and The Morrigan tell her of her son's future, a child they call Druid, and how he will unite the Tribes of Albion and become the greatest sorcerer the world has ever seen.
Combining ancient Irish and Welsh Celtic mythology with fantasy fiction, Druid - The Albion Prophecy takes you through the lands of Albion and Cymru; lands where lives are lost, love is found and evil and treachery battle against friendship and loyalty.
