概要

 In the aftermath of the Great War, Roberta, the daughter of an American soldier and a French marquise, returns to her fathers childhood home. Upon her arrival in New York, she discovers that her misanthropic uncle has mistaken her identity and believes she is her small, disabled brothers nephew. To secure medical care for Pierre and appease her uncle, Roberta adopts the persona of Robert.
