This is accompanied by a reading plan we will be following as a church to read through the entire Old Testament in a year. This week, Pastor Les gives us an overview of the entire book of Ruth. We are born into a foreign world — a world that God doesn’t intend for us to live in forever. It is a world broken by sin and far from the goodness of His original design. Yet by His sovereign grace, God pursued us in ways we could never have imagined. The book of Ruth gives us a beautiful snapshot of how God works out His masterful plan—a plan to redeem what was lost through sin.
