We all know someone whose gift was so obvious it seemed almost unfair. Maybe you saw it in real time. More likely you looked back years later and realized....."that was something special." This episode is about those people. The ones who inspired us to stop watching from the sideline and start asking what we're actually carrying. Because everyone has something. The question is whether you know what it is, and whether you're using it for something bigger than yourself.

And in the 360, the guys get into it. Mild rage, real talk about the financial future facing the next generation, and a few stories that actually left them feeling hopeful.

At the onset of this episode Jim wonders should we be polite when interacting with Ai?
As it pertains to the main topic, technically our guys are “echo” Boomers, however Dan and Terry seem to resent their affiliation with their generation and the negative connotations of the meme. Jim on the other hand doesn’t share their concern.
Regardless the boys discuss misperceptions and lessons learned from being on this planet for 60 years. Maybe they have a little wisdom to share, you be the judge.

Season 3 kicks off where every good friendship story starts; at the beginning. Jim, Dan, and Terry pull back the curtain on a bond that's spanned decades, and they don't shy away from the hard parts. How did three guys stay this close for this long? What moments actually threatened to pull things apart? They get into all of it.......the history, the friction, and what's kept them showing up for each other anyway. Then in the 360 segment, two of the guys go political and one gets personal and heartfelt. And yeah, we're leaving it to you to figure out who brought what to the table.

The guys would like to start with Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Quanza or Happy Festivus.....whichever brings you, our listeners the most Joy! This week they welcome their great friend Jeff Santo to serve the role of moderator and chief inquisitor as Jeff takes us on a nostalgic journey of boyhood memories and self-exploration. This week Ems gets a chance to dig into something he has been wondering about since the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl 15 years ago; Does Marketing Really Work? Before the guys get into the meat of the episode, Ems comes clean about his "technical difficulties" from last week....there's a slide cover for the laptop camera??? Who knew! Terry and Dan share about what scared them in early childhood TV shows and movies; although Dan points out that 8th grade might have been too young to see The Omen! Terry goes off script on Rudolph....AND the guys revisit fashion in the 80's and what their "go to" outfit was when hitting the town. The 70's-80's childhood commercial "pop quiz" was fun as the guys recall famous commercials from the early years; Terry proves his cultural turrets is legit! Glimpses of other convos include "can of corn", "fast fashion" and Ems' "Tom Cruise ban"!

Ems starts out conveying his first "happy holidays" of the year and DM quickly chides him for what he considers a "premature pronouncement".......7 days before Thanksgiving(??).......lots to unpack here! The boys continue on their path of thoughtful, and at times humorous reflection. This week's topic is their takes on spiritual practices, how they use in their lives, and to no surprise the idea of "spreading good cheer" makes an appearance! Fols recalls how he stopped his Catholic Confirmation dead in its tracks and how he paved the way for the other Foley boys to follow his lead.....God bless his mother Fay :) Terry recalls a moment that put chills in him....literally!....and how this had a lasting impact on his spiritual view. And our boy Ems went from "black" to Clarity and never looked back!
