About APORIA: Space for the Unspoken

APORIA is a Greek word. It describes a kind of moment —

when you think you know something, and then discover you don't.

Not confusion. Something deeper than confusion: the first time you've truly stood in front of that thing.

You may have felt this —

reading a sentence, feeling something loosen inside you, and then nothing remains.

making a decision you can't explain, and that unexplainability never quite leaves.

watching an ordinary scene, feeling something deep move through you, and then it passes, and you go on with your life.

Those feelings are not a malfunction.

They are the things inside you that haven't yet been touched, trying to speak.

This is not an attempt to fully articulate them.

Only to leave a little space for what hasn't yet found its voice.

  • #11 The Feeling You Suppress Is the Teacher You Avoid
    2026/06/10

You have a principle. You hold it dear. You are certain of its truth. Then life brings the moment that puts it to the test — and your insides do not obey. The principle sits untouched in your mind while your stomach churns with the old, familiar reaction.

You tell yourself again: I believe this. But the body does not hear you. It has been trained by years of habitual response. It will not learn from a lecture.

The only way is to let the feeling arrive fully, without smothering it with consoling truths. Let it have its way with you for a while. Not because you enjoy suffering, but because only by enduring the complete weight of the moment can you eventually wear down the old groove and let a new one form.

This is slow work. But there is no shortcut. The gap between knowing and being is not crossed by intention. It is crossed by time spent in the fire.

  • #10 Before the Wanting, There Was the Making
    2026/06/09

People say the things that last do not make noise. But noise is not the opposite of silence. The silent thing is not buried. It simply does not need to be heard. If you feel you must explain why this work matters, you have already departed from it. The weight is in the doing, not in the landing. Let go of the need to be found. Then everything is already where it is.
