Once upon a time about 50 to 100 years ago there was children who listened to their parents! Sounds like all the families were swell. Usually the mothers were all homemakers and they keep the house clean and a pie cooking for dessert. Children trusted and respected parents and most adults actually. It’s a true story and I am not lying, but those children were also afraid of getting into trouble. At public schools in the 1950’s they didn’t expel the student. That would be a vacation, but instead if they were bad at school, they had what was called, “the strap.” The principal didn’t phone the parents ahead, instead the defiant child was told to hold out there wrist and while the student was shaking, they got whipped with this piece of leather that may have had holes in it. Children were usually so scared if they got the strap, that there parents would find out. If there parents found out then the child would most likely get a spanking and get grounded.     Hello, Welcome to my first podcast show and I am Stephanie Murphy. A lot of what will be spoken about is Children’s Aid Society and questioning whether or not they are doing an actual job. I don’t believe foster homes are needed. I believe personally the police could take over the job of Family and Children “Services,” and if the police doesn’t need to arrest anyone then really no one needs to take a child away.
    It would save the government money. The government could attach a small child welfare agency onto each police force.

    Honestly Family and Children Services have already been given more power then a police officer, they can take a child away without a warrant and it will take around a year to go to trial, and I read to get your child back you need to show co-operation with CAS anyways, therefore in the end it is nothing to do with the safety of a child. It’s to do with control. The power and control, CAS workers tend to like having.
