  • Crossing Continents & Creating Community with Khelsy!
    2026/07/10

I'm just back from a tres bien weekend away in France visiting my family and todays episode is a very French one indeed! My guest this week is Khelsy...

Based in Paris, Khelsy is a late-diagnosed AuDHD lesbian, creator, and the founder of NEUROLY. Through candid storytelling, she shares exactly what happens when you stop trying to fit in and finally start trusting yourself. By using raw honesty to challenge the idea that it’s ever too late to start over, Khelsy invites anyone stuck in self-doubt to ditch the pressure and lean into their own intuition. Her stories are a reminder that you don’t have to navigate the messy parts of self-discovery alone, showing that there’s no such thing as being too late to be yourself.

I had an awesome time chatting with Khelsy. She's a fascinating person with so many stories to share. Please be warned, we do touch on some tough topics that some people may find triggering including domestic abuse and a brief mention of suicide attempt.

If you are triggered by any of the topics discussed in today's episode, you are not alone Samaritans | Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy | Here to listenFollow Khelsy on Instagram here!Check out Neuroly here!

  • Healing From Trauma With K.A.P. With Sean Gillen!
    2026/07/03

In next week's episode, I have a brilliant guest who, during our interview, mentions K.A.P. and the positive affect it's had on her life. I hadn't heard of K.A.P. before chatting with her so in this week's episode I decided I should find out all about it in anticipation of that episode being released. Enter Sean Gillen from EULAS Clinics in Scotland who is here to educate us all about it. He talks in detail about what exactly K.A.P. is, who it's suitable for, how it's administered and the potential benefits. There is also mention of some subjects that some listeners may find triggering including drug misuse and brief mentions of war.

Sean Gillen, director of eulas clinics. After 15 years of working in mental health services and seeing poor outcomes on a regular basis, Sean and his team started eulas clinics with the intention of bringing a more modern and effective approach to mental health treatment. Sean and his team are the first to provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy in Scotland and have now branched out to London to make this treatment as available and accessible as possible.

  • Gill Of All Trades! With Gillian Charlton!
    2026/06/26
I've called this episode Gill Of All Trades because Gill is someone, who like me and many other ADHD people, has many strings to her bow and it's something I feel we should celebrate more! I was first introduced to Gill through my gorgeous mate Laura on a facetime, if I recall correctly, last New Years Eve. She was bouncing around in her pyjamas singing and I was immediately drawn to her energy. Gill is a naturally funny person, which is something I love but there is also so much more to her...Gill Charlton is a former British Army soldier, comedian, celebrant, speaker and full‑time Northern chatterbox. She was diagnosed with combined‑type ADHD at 38 while still serving, during treatment for PTSD and following a cancer diagnosis in 2018.After 24 years in the Army, PTSD and a long medical discharge process led Gill to leave service in 2023, throwing her sense of identity into chaos. She coped the only way an ADHD brain knows how — by doing everything. Gill immersed herself in recovery programmes based around adaptive sport, saying yes to sailing, snowboarding, climbing, axe throwing and pretty much anything else offered. She was also selected for the Invictus Games and took a stand‑up comedy course, which led to her becoming co‑founder and director of the Veterans Comedy Club CIC.After leaving the Army, Gill retrained and worked full‑time as a celebrant, building a business rooted in connection, humour and authenticity — a role she still continues alongside her work. A year ago, she moved into a full‑time Events Executive role in the charity sector, supporting military‑connected communities. Through podcasts like ADHD AF, Gill found the ADHD community she’d been searching for and now runs the Manchester peer support group for the ADHD AF+ charity. She’s also a mum to two AuDHD sons, an event host and speaker, and someone who gets involved in almost everything.Gill's celebrant website: www.gillcharlton.co.uk Veterans Comedy Club website: Veterans Comedy Club | Armed Forces ComedySign up for email reminders to the Manchester Peer Support Groups — ADHDAF+ CharityMy merch has finally been released!
