Not as the new main character, but as a significant subplot to advance the story and in doing so more fully reveal the Glory of God through His grace and mercy.

There is a valley unseen by the Old Testament prophets that we are living in, it is a valley of time where God has chosen to work through a different people than Israel, the Church made up of all peoples. But just because this gap of time has been thousands of years, it does not alter what those prophets saw and recorded; the Kingdom of Israel will be restored.
