Episode 49 Monica tells many fascinating stories about her Focusing journey and her life experiences. For example at her first Focusing event she shared a cigarette with a man outside, telling him that she thought these Focusing people are crazy. That man turned out to be Eugene Gendlin. Monica combines Biodecoding, a way of working with physical symptoms, with Wholebody Focusing. Each physical symptom points to a solution which returns the whole being to its balance. Through Biodecoding and Focusing she has a better understanding of her own Body History, and has been able to evolve her listening practice to include an awareness of biological function. These ideas are based on an approach by psychotherapists and researchers Christian Flèche, Dr. Ryke Gerd Hamer, Marc Fréchet, and others.
