Good Morning Nashville ☀️ We are blessed and excited to be a part of you guys day today, and continually want to thank you for supporting our show as we aim to change the narrative behind black men one episode at a time. Got a good one for you guys today, so let’s lock in! You cannot be from Nashville, Tenneseee and not know who this brother is that we have as a guest today. For the second time, he has graced our platform and he’s came back with a children’s book! Not just any children’s book, but a book that will teach kids all over the world what resilience and strength is all about even at their young age(s). 📖 We present to some and introduce to others, motivational speaker, author, graduate of Vanderbilt University, and a true mental health advocate … our good friend and brother, Mr. Reggie Ford. ✌🏽Reggie comes to the platform to introduce to us his book titled “I Am The Rose.” 🌹 “I Am the Rose by Reggie D. Ford is a children's book about a quiet boy who learns resilience and self-worth by observing a rose growing through concrete, inspired by his grandmother's guidance.”Not only do we get into the book itself, but we talk about its foundation and where the idea came from. Reggie pays homage to his late grandmother, and talks heavily about her influence in his life. He also vents with us about how for a long period of time, he was so self reliant that it became detrimental to his health. Like most black men … we don’t ask for help, because it presents a sign of weakness or lack of knowledge. But with time, Reggie has found various ways through therapy to navigate his emotions in such a way, that he tells his story on stages all over the nation … challenging men to be vulnerable and give themselves grace daily. It’s a lot to unpack with this episode, including new debuted music from Nashville artist Sydnei Jeanne ⭐️ , as we get into a variety of subjects and topics with our guy Reggie that you surely will enjoy. You don’t want to miss this exclusive episode, take some time to listen to a black man vent today. ✌🏽“Have You Heard A Black Man Vent Today?”™️Reggie Ford’s new children’s book “I Am The Rose” 🌹 can be purchased at the link below:Amazon: https://a.co/d/03Q8dkpWWalmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/I-am-the-Rose-Hardcover-9781736596357/19254754199?sid=1453bb13-da55-4bf9-839e-9f32d7d93114BMVT Ad Break 📺BMVT’S 3RD ANNUAL “SPARE YOUR MIND” DOUBLES BOWLING TOURNAMENT 🎳 Location: Hermitage Strike & Spare 📍 Time: 11:00a-2:00p ⏰ **MORE DETAILS COMING SOON. Good Morning Nashville ☀️

Welcome to The Black Men Vent Too Podcast! It truly is a blessing to have you guys support what we do, who we are, and how we advocate for men and mental health with our platform. Whether you’re black or white, we have embraced all men on our platform understanding that mental health is bigger than color. And it is our weekly goal to ensure that we are providing a safe space for these men to share their story, so that we gain various lived experiences and perspective on how to better handle those mental things we deal with each and every day 🙏🏽

    LET’S LOCK IN ON TODAY’S EPISODE ‼️

Did you guys know that in Nashville, we have our very own ABA Team? Take some time to lock in on our segment break in today’s episode, where we give you guys a little history lesson behind the ABA, and how the ABA was a catalyst to what the NBA is today.

The Nashville Aces ♠️ represent as our ABA team and we could be more than excited to have a brother that surely has a big hand behind the team being developed to what it is today. Following our platform means you know that we advocate for black men and mental health, but we never shun or dismiss an opportunity to bring a brother on the show of a different race/ethnicity.

With that being said, we’re excited to introduce to you guys our white ✌🏻 brother and friend, Mr. Duncan McClure ⭐️

Duncan comes to the show to vent a bout a lot of subjects that can be related to by any man. One thing he discusses with us, is the culture of entrepreneurship and how important it is to be consistent.

There is no short cut in consistency.”

It is so important to embrace the journey, before getting to the destination. Duncan talks about how often times we try to “cheat” our way to the top, and how you dismiss the experiences that come with adversity. In August of 2025, Duncan vents with us about a moment in his life … that changed his life. It brought adversity, doubt, depression, and more, but to see him walking today based off his story … is nothing short of a miracle.

Take some time to listen to a white brother vent today ✌🏻

Good Morning Nashville ☀️ It’s a new month with Black Men Vent Too! Excited once again to be back, as we represent being the FIRST and the ONLY black father and son podcast in the state of Tennessee ⭐️, we are the Black Men Vent Too Podcast!CHICAGOOOOOO ‼️ Fun Fact: did you know Chicago is a TOP 5 CITY for streams of our podcast all-time? This means that analytically, Chicago has shown us love ever since we debuted our first episode August 1st, 2021. We want to say thank you for the support Chi-town, that’s why we’re excited for you and others to hear the guest we have today. This episode may be lengthy, but we promise you, there is a story … and this story is one you DON’T want to miss.Presenting to some and introducing to others, his title(s) do not define nearly the man that he is … a Pastor, devoted husband, a father, but above all else a true trailblazer and pioneer for the city of Chicago as he actively walks nearly SIX MILLION STEPS TO OPPORTUNITY, all to raise money behind an initiative that will change youth development in the Southside of Chicago forever. We are excited to be presenting this EXCLUSIVE episode with none other than our good friend and brother, Pastor Corey Brooks. ⭐️ On September 1st, 2025 … Pastor Brooks took himself, his team, and his faith, and hit the road with his feet beginning in Times Square, New York City, and began a 3,000 mile walk across America. The target of the coast-to-coast walk over the course of 365 days is to raise 25 million dollars. Why is he doing this you might ask? He responds, “For every young man, for every mother, for every forgotten block in this country … I’m walking for them. I’m walking for us. I’m walking because we can’t wait anymore.”If you support black men and mental health, then we are warning you that this story will pull you in to the mission work that is being done in Chicago under the leadership of Pastor Corey Brooks. ⭐️ “Have You Heard A Black Man Vent Today?”™️Do you have ✌🏽 minutes to spare?
