Welcome back to another episode of Campbells and Co.

It’s a rough old dating world out there - but it can be even more tricky to date as an elite athlete. There is the sports bubble, the restrictive lifestyle, the all-encompassing nature of pursuing an Olympic dream, traveling for months at a time and not having a ‘normal’ work schedule.

Cate and Bronte share their own experiences with dating and bust a few myths along the way.

  • An honest chat about Sibling Rivalry and Bronte addresses the Elephant in the Room.

Welcome back to another episode of Campbells and Co.

If there is one question we get asked most often, it’s how do you manage sibling rivalry? Over the years we have given many different answers to this question. There is the polite ‘it was always a shared dream, so it’s great to do it together’. There is the almost true ‘if I can’t win, I at least want my sister to win’.

While neither of these answers are wrong, they do not fully explore and elaborate on the complexities of competing with and against your sister on the world’s biggest stage for over a decade.

Cate and Bronte share their tips for any siblings or parents struggling with this - because while competing at an Olympic Games against your sister is rare, the notion of sibling rivalry is commonplace in many households around Australia (and the world).

If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your sibling (or maybe parent).

We hope you enjoy this episode of Campbells & Co.

  • What drives performance? Technology or psychology?
    2026/05/06

Welcome back to another episode of Campbells and Co.

This episode Cate and Bronte chat about the marathon world record. Kenyan Sebastian Sawe crossed the London marathon finish line in a staggering 1:59.30 - that’s an average running speed of 21km/h. .

However, that was not the only extraordinary feat that race. Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha was only 11 second behind Sawe, running 1:59.41 in his London marathon debut.

After the race, Sebastian Sawe was pictured holding up his shoes - which caused controversy when they were first released as critics claim it gave runners too much of a boost.

It raises the question, with not one but two men breaking the two hour barrier for the first time in an official race, was it the shoe technology that led to this feat? Or was the 2 hour marathon barrier a psychological barrier that once crossed, opens the door for others to follow?

Let us know, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

We hope you enjoy this episode of Campbells & Co.
