SiriusXM Morning Skate with Scott Laughlin, Gord Stellick & Tyler Madarasz
The Carolina Hurricanes are one win away from their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 2006 after a dominant 4-0 victory over the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final at Bell Centre. Frederik Andersen recorded his third shutout of the playoffs with 18 saves, while Sebastian Aho, Jordan Staal, and Logan Stankoven scored during a blistering 2:47 stretch in the first period to put Carolina firmly in control. Nikolaj Ehlers and Shayne Gostisbehere each contributed two assists as the Hurricanes grabbed a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. With momentum on their side, Carolina now heads back to Raleigh for a potential series-clinching Game 5 on Friday at Lenovo Center.
