    The Call To Leadership (Lessons From The Book Of Esther)

    True leadership is not the people per se, but it is an entrusted responsibility toward a divine mandate. And when those whom God has assigned to the mission walk in disobedience, God will cause help to come from another place. Your days of labouring and trying to convince the disobedient that the next level of the vision is dependent on their obedience are over.


    In this season, you will be surprised by how God will work for you. He is committed to finishing what He started with you and in you. "For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Ref. Esther 4:14 KJV)

    We have been liberated from the limitations which were imposed on us by reason the fall of man. And our freedom from God's judgment came as a consequence of the work of the Cross. But after the Cross there is a resurrected life we are to lead, which is tied to our obedince to God's commands. God is not holding nothing out for us, but our immaturity and lack good stewardship skills, He is bound by the bowels of His mercy toward us, to not allow the good things He has in store for us to serve as a weapon leading to our destruction. He is not just a good Father when He says "Yes" to our requests, but even when He says "No", He is still good, because He's always looking out for whether He ways favors our lusts or not. We are in a dispensation where we should not be bound by the engineering which is of the devil. But being passive, ignorant of what God says in His Word, or having our altars being full of ashes is keeping us in a state of depravity in a time when we ought to be living in abundance.

    The gift of parenting is a trust from God to us, to disciple the next generation into becoming all that He has deposited in them from the day of conception. It is thus important to always consult God, on how to raise our children, because they don't belong to us, and they did not come into this earth to serve us, but we all are stewards of God's blessings, gifts, talents and callings in varying degrees. If anything, having children, like singleness and marriage, should draw you a bit more closer to God than the day before. Because the wisdom to raise them in a way that won't allow them to make mistake which will cost them their purpose for being, is found in Him. I just felt like sharing this thought with all single parents, marriage hopefuls, those expecting, those trusting, and those with children in covenanted unions. Blessings...

    What Jesus has done was to reconcile US back into good relationship with God (ref. Ephesians 2:15), and to give US ACCESS (ref. 2 Corinthians 3:17) into the Spiritual blessings (ref. Ephesians 1:3) that sin had denied US access from partaking in (ref. Genesis 3:22, Colossians 1:12). But walking out the life of salvation? The Lord Jesus did not do that FOR US. He does, however, by His Spirit empower US to walk it out (ref. Colossians 2:6, Philippians 2:12, 1 Timothy 4:12-16, 2 Timothy 2:19). Do not allow hypergrace to frustrate your life, and having you insult God. Focus on this following points, and be a wonder in your generation: a) The enemy wil attack your knowledge of your identity b) The enemy will attack the unity of the Body of Christ c) The enemy will attack your zeal to serve the Lord d) The enemy will attack the moral fabric and growth of a church e) The enemy will attack individual and collective devotion to Christ f) The enemy will influence you to tolerate dysfunction homes The armor of God is worn to ward off these tricks and from the enemy, from rebuilding the wall of enmity between God and us. And this is not only done through the ministry of prayer, but also through standing in the knowledge of Whom we have trusted in.

    The Lord has made provision for us not to be moved by what's going in our lives, and around us. He is ever so mindful of our connection with Him that He has given to us the ministry of prayer as a medium by which we can communicate with Him as touching anything weighing our hearts down (but also even the things which are pleasing to our hearts). Being a truthful God that He is, He does not promise that after we have prayed, that we will then see a sudden change. Which is why the Apostle Paul informs the Philippian church that, whether we receive an answer to our prayer, or not, a sure thing that will happen is that God will delighte His peace, to not only set our hearts at ease. But also to form guard around us, to the end that what worried us before, will no longer have legal right to cause our hearts to worry no more. Let us make use of this ministry called prayer.

    Our safety is in God. Our insufficiency is lifted off our shoulders in God. Our life is with Christ in God, and we need to seek Him, in order to get to our life that He has shut up in Him. Once we make it our goal to pursue Him. No matter what we are going through, or what is happening around us, it will not affect our relationship with God. Before I shared this message, I heard God saying "Hide Yourself In Me." Let's do as we are ordered. There's life there.
