  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - How God Used Basketball To Change My Life
    2026/06/27

In today's episode, I'm taking y'll all the way back to to my days in Brooklyn — and all the way forward to this week's NBA Draft — because God's timeline is nothing short of miraculous. I'm sharing a personal testimony and it starts with a basketball goal in my daddy's yard and ends with me watching one of my former players have his NBA dreams come true. Everything in between? That was ALL God. A stranger in a grocery store. A field trip I didn't plan. A scholarship that got cut in half. Lonely college nights with nothing but the Bible and Matthew 6:34 to hold onto. A private Catholic school in the mountains of Central PA that changed my life. A decade of pouring into young men in the Atlanta area. All of it — every valley, every redirect, every test — was part of the plan.

But this episode isn't just my story. It's many of our stories. If you're in the middle of your life's ocean right now with no life jacket in sight, I need you to hear this: your natural instinct is to FIGHT. Don't lay down. Don't give up. Even when the armor of God is on, the arrows still sting — but that doesn't mean He failed you. It means He wants to see what you're going to do. Call your lifeline. Ask for prayer. Sit with somebody. Seek Him first.

You are not alone, FAM. You have never been alone. Tap in to this episode and then pass it to somebody who needs to hear it today. Drop me a comment, shoot me a text, and let me know what part of this testimony hit home for you. Let's keep building together. 💪🏾

  • When My Sistah Wins We All Win - ft Yvonne Sims
    2026/06/24

In this episode, we're getting to the ROOT of things — literally. Today I'm sitting down with Yvonne Sims, the founder of Soul Growery, and this woman is on a MISSION. We're talking about growing your own food, rebuilding lost generational knowledge, and how one sister walked away from almost 20 years in the corporate world to build a half-million-view brand by simply being herself. This isn't just about gardening — it's about US, our community, our connection to the earth, and the power of getting back to the basics that our grandparents lived every single day. Yvonne's grandmother was clipping lettuce fresh from the garden in Germany. Her grandfather worked 100 acres of land in the American South. And now Yvonne is on a mission to make sure WE don't lose that knowledge forever.

We covered what to plant RIGHT NOW this season, the truth about hydroponics (you don't need thousands of dollars — I promise), the real difference between gardening and homesteading, and why authenticity on social media will always beat perfection. Yvonne also talks about how she went from 200 private followers to 6,000+ in TWO MONTHS — not because of tricks, but because she showed up real. Sound familiar, FAM? Tap in to get the full wisdom: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop me a comment about something that resonated from this conversation, and tell me — what are YOU growing right now? Whether it's a backyard garden, a pot on the balcony, or basil on your counter like Cousin Ed 😂, we want to hear from you! Let's keep building, growing, and supporting each other. 🌱 Connect with Cousin Ed: 762-333-2032 or @CousinEdsCorner on all platforms. • Motivational Monday - Missing Dad
    2026/06/23

FAM, after the Father's Day episode, so many of you reached out — and I heard you. People sharing how much they miss their dads, how they wished he had been there, how they're still carrying that weight. I couldn't let Motivational Monday pass without addressing that directly. So I stepped on the mic — on the move, because life doesn't stop — and I said what was on my heart.

This episode is for everyone who grew up without a father in the home, everyone who lost their dad before they were ready, and everyone who's still asking "why." The answer? It wasn't you. It was NEVER you. Your father's absence was his chapter, not your destiny. And Cousin Ed is here to remind you that God still has a hand on your life — just like He did on Barack Obama's, even after Obama discovered the truth about a father who wasn't who he thought he was.

I'm also throwing out a challenge to the whole Corner Community: Adopt a dad. Find your father figure. That mentor, that older man you trust, that person in church, in your neighborhood, in your life — let them in. We were not meant to do this alone.

    Let's keep rising together: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Tap in, share this one with somebody who needs it, and drop your thoughts in the comments or hit me at 762-333-2032. This community is built on real love and real talk — and today's no different. 💛

  • The Corner Connection - Juneteenth and Justice: Why Freedom And Survival Still Feel Out Of Reach?
    2026/06/20

In Today's Episode, I sat down on Juneteenth — June 19th — to do what we always do on a Friday: Thank God For Everything. I sat down, as always, to give God thanks. But FAM, God redirected this episode in a way I didn't see coming, and I had to let it come out.

This episode takes me back to my Jr. High memories in Brooklyn — being surrounded by racial tension. It reminded me of the day my bus was surrounded while people with chains and bats beat on the windows. And that memory came rushing back because of what happened to a young man who faced that same kind of surrounded, cornered, no-way-out moment. He was touched, threatened, and forced to defend himself. He tried to get away. He cooperated with the police afterward. He told the truth. And YES — the justice system gave this 17-year-old young man, Karmelo Anthony, 35 years for first-degree murder. FAM, I couldn't stay quiet about that. I won't stay quiet about that. THIS EPISODE WAS SOMETHING THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID.

"Why are you bothering me?" That question runs through this whole episode — and it connects every story, every name, every child we've prayed over for decades. This isn't about anger. This is about truth. This is about faith. This is about asking God to watch over us, especially when justice doesn't show up the way it should.

I close this one in prayer, and I mean every word. Please tap in, share this episode with your friends, family, and loved ones, and drop me a comment. Tell me what this episode meant to you. Tell me about the moments in your life when you've had to ask "Why are you bothering me?" Let's keep this conversation going together, FAM. I love each and every one of you. 🙏🏾

  • Motivational Monday: 53 Years in the Making — What the Knicks Championship Means Beyond Basketball
    2026/06/15

OK OK OK I cannot hold this in. The New York Knicks are NBA CHAMPIONS. 🏆🧡💙 After 53 years — after Patrick, after Starks, after Sprewell, after Marbury, after every heartbreak this city has carried — this TEAM, Our TEAM, MY TEAM, THIS TEAM OF UNDERDOGS, went all the way and brought it HOME.

In this episode I'm talking about all of it — the history, the players who gave everything for this city, Jalen Brunson's story as a 6'2" point guard who was counted out on every level, and what this championship is about to do to the culture and the economy of the entire world. But I also get personal, because when I think about Jalen and his dad, I think about me and my son — and what it means to have somebody in your corner who pushes you to KNOW your greatness before the world ever agrees. That's the real conversation.

This is Motivational Monday. This is Corner Connection. This is Thank God For Everything. All rolled into one. Come celebrate with the family. 🗽🧡💙🧡💙🗽

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Sometimes We Just Need To Call His Name
    2026/06/12

Wassssss up fam, Some days, life just throws things at you — a cold that won't quit, a car that picks the worst possible time to act up, and a Friday that doesn't feel like a Friday. But you know what I did? I turned the mic on anyway. Because sometimes the message you need to deliver is the message you need to HEAR first. 🙏🏾

In this brand new TGFE episode of Cousin Ed's Corner, I'm getting real with you, fam. I'm talking about how easy it is to see the dark side of the cloud and forget there's a silver lining waiting right there. I'm talking about unseen blessings — the accidents that didn't happen, the lists your name was never on, the quiet ways God is protecting you every single day without you even knowing. • Wind Down Wednesday - Summer Summer Summer Time
    2026/06/11

In this episode, we're checking in on the FAM, talking about the real stuff that matters as we step into the back half of the year: watching the market, protecting your retirement and investment accounts, keeping some savings in the bank, and — this one is BIG — never, ever feeling ashamed to seek outside resources and programs when you need them. That's what they're there for, and there is no weakness in getting help. That's wisdom.

I'm also hyping up some incredible guest episodes we've had recently and letting you know more are on the way. And yes — I made a prediction. The New York Knicks are winning the 2026 NBA Championship. On the record. Mark it down. 😂

This is what Wind Down Wednesday is all about — slowing down, checking in, and reminding you that the Corner Family has your back. Tap in, share this episode with someone who needs a midweek love tap, and let me know what you think. I love each and every one of you. Walk good. 💛

  • The Corner Connection - Why Seeing My Daughter Come Of Age Is The World To Me
    2026/06/09

FAM, In this episode, I'm getting real about what it means to be a parent, to keep pushing, to keep talking even when your kids look at you like you're the most annoying person alive. I'm sharing what I've learned about raising children with standards and love at the same time — and why you can never stop telling your people that you love them.

I'm going to be honest with you — today's episode wasn't planned to go the way it went. It was supposed to be a quick Corner Connection check-in. But when I sat down to record, I couldn't let the day go by without sharing something with you that was sitting heavy on my heart in the best way possible.

Today is my daughter Keona's 18th birthday. And if you know me, you know I don't take these moments lightly. Watching her grow from my little girl into the confident, self-assured young woman she is today has been one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me. But it hasn't always been easy — not for her, and not for me as her dad. She went through moments of trying to fit in, being teased, not always looking like what the world said a girl "should" look like. She played sports. She walked her own lane. And there were times I wondered if she was going to be okay. FAM, she is more than okay.

Whether you're a parent, a child, or someone who just needs to hear that growth takes time and it's worth it — this one is for you. Tune in, tap in, and let's celebrate together: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner
