    On the night of May 22, 2019, police were alerted to an apartment lived in by 35-year-old Wade Allen on North Maple Street in Sturgis, Michigan. A report came in about Wade storing his girlfriend's body in his apartment. As police searched the apartment, Wade grew increasingly uncooperative, especially when officers asked to look inside a large cooler sitting in his living room. When officers finally gained access, they discovered the dismembered remains of 42-year-old Kelly Jean "KJ" Warner.
    Wade asserted Kelly had died after a brain injury she sustained while making cereal and fainting in the kitchen, but the truth of KJ's brutal torture and murder came out when Wade bragged to his cellmates in prison about what he actually did to KJ.

    In January 2018, 19-year-old Caitlin Denison boarded a plane from Reno, Nevada, to Midland, Texas, accompanying a man she had only recently met. She was bright, tattooed, and full of life—but within 24 hours of landing in the Permian Basin, that life was shrouded in a terrifying mystery. Before her phone went dark, Caitlin sent a series of desperate messages to her family, stating she was "afraid for her life" and was with a person who would get angry when trying to force himself on her and she rejected. She was last seen at a Midland Walmart, and despite sightings of a specific Ford F-250 and a mysterious RV, the trail has remained cold for over 8 years.

Denison's nose is pierced on both sides, her ears are pierced three to four times each, and her lower lip, upper lip, and tongue are pierced. She has scars on her arms and legs from self-inflicted cuts, a tattoo of the Libra scales on her right forearm, an alien head and the letter M on one of her left fingers, and a symbol on one of her right fingers. Denison's hair had been bleached light blonde prior to her disappearance and was growing out, with light ends and darker roots.

    Most of us have a sibling we’d do anything for. We grow up sharing toys, secrets, and eventually, the stresses of adulthood, but for Ken and Kari Allen, that bond took a sharp, lethal turn. It wasn't just 'us against the world'—it was 'us against anyone in our way.'

    Kenneth Allen, Jr. had spent most of his life away from his family, particularly his sister, Kari who was 11 years his junior, back in Indiana due to his parents, Sharon and Kenneth Allen, Sr divorcing when he was 14. Ken grew up in Florida while Kari lived with her mother in Noblesville, Indiana. After a life of counterfeiting, forgery, and theft, Ken decided to move home with his sister and mother at the age of 29 after doing a 14 month stint in prison in Arizona. He and 18-year-old Kari concocted a plan to kill their grandparents and take their money they had saved. Since their mother, Sharon, refused to help them, she had to die, too. After their killing spree, the pair buried the remains of all three victims under the basement floor at their grandparents' Indianapolis home and headed for Vegas, but a routine traffic stop uncovered their heinous crimes.
