  • DawgmanRadio: Dissecting the offensive side of the ball after spring football
    2026/05/15
The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds and Chris Fetters - got together this week to break down what they saw from the offensive side of the ball during spring football. Over the course of 14 practices and a spring game, there was a ton to talk about, as well as any questions left unanswered depending on who was available and who wasn't. Starting with the quarterbacks and working their way down the order position-by-position, Kim and Chris break down their observations with one eye on spring ball and also with one eye focused on what it all means as the team heads toward the offseason and into training camp in August. And so many questions to answer... Who were the standouts? Who took big strides during April? Who took advantage of their opportunities? Who needed to show more? How big was not having Jayden Limar and Trey Cooley when talking about the UW running backs? How big was not having Christian Moss to the overall outlook for the Husky receivers? And how much did not having the Hatchett brothers and Kolt Dieterich affect how the offensive line performed? • DawgmanRadio: Huskies Have Fun, Stay Healthy During 'Dawgs After Dark'
    2026/05/02
Buoyed by some stellar defensive play, the Purple Team beat Team Gold 27-10 in the annual 'Dawgs After Dark' Spring Game at Husky Stadium Friday night. The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - were on hand to check everything out and talk about the stars of the night, as well as talk about some of the players we didn't get to see as much of. And there was also talk about the format of the game, how the team was split up via a draft so it wasn't best on best, twos on twos, etc... and whether or not other teams would get anything out of it while scouting them as opponents. Scott offered up a quick recruiting update on the players that were seen there, as well as what the UW coaches have on their plates as they enter a very busy May evaluation period where they can hit the road on search of more 2027 recruits for their class, as well as lay the groundwork with future classes. And then the guys offer up their final thoughts on the game, on spring in general, and what the Huskies have to do in the offseason this summer to really hit the ground running when August training camp arrives. • DawgmanRadio: Tuesday's practice the perfect ramp-up to 'Dawgs After Dark'
    2026/04/29
The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - spent Tuesday night dissecting what the could from the two-and-a-half practice they just saw out on the east field next to Husky Stadium. But they also spent a fair part of it talking about the individual play of certain Washington players that have taken advantage of opportunities in the absence of others. Some examples include WR Deji Ajose, EDGE Ramzak Fruean, CB/Nickel Ramonz Adams Jr., and RB Ansu Sanoe. Scott also offered up some thoughts on Washington's newest 2027 commit, Glacier Peak TE Zach Albright, and also talked about some of the prospects that are expected to be at Husky Stadium this coming Friday night. And the guys finished up the podcast talking about a number of players on both sides of the ball that Washington fans should be looking out for during Friday night's spring game. Last year had roughly 20,000 UW fans out in attendance, and I know they're trying hard to top that number this year.
