  • How Tools Betrayed Us After 3 Million Years
    2026/06/23

Jane Goodall’s journey to the Gombe Stream in 1960 forced us to redefine what makes us human, starting with tools. Her observation of chimps made us question our own relationship with our most primitive tools stretching back 3 million years. Through millennia, as our dependency on them grew, we remapped our brains to include them as extensions of ourselves. And what were once seen as objects critical to our own survival now threaten our existence... with the rise of machines, computers, and AI.

  • Left for Dead in the Australian Outback: 71 Days in the Desert
    2026/05/26

Ricky Megee woke up in a shallow grave, in the middle of the Australian desert, being pawed at by a pack of dingoes. Desperately hoping to find an end to the half-a-million square mile nightmare, he walked as far as he could, losing half his body weight over 71 days of survival. He ate lizards, frogs, and leeches in the 104 degree heat. When found, doctors believed he truly had been out there in the desert– starving to death. But when he later told his story, some of the details were stretched a bit too far… Many wondered if he was only trying to sign a book deal.

  • She Married the Eiffel Tower: Exploring the Far Side of Love
    2026/05/19

Erika Eiffel claimed her romantic relationship with the Eiffel Tower was as real as any other. Objectum Sexuality, or Objectophilia, remains a fringe, stigmatized, and under-researched concept regarding love and relationships. No one knows exactly how to categorize it or why it occurs. The first empirical behavioral investigation wasn’t published until 2019, and while it gave some answers, the concept is still relatively misunderstood.
