  • Tommy Gives Hocevar An A+ & Rajah Caruth Talks Path To The Playoffs
    2026/07/13

The DBC gang is back in studio again today after an early Monday morning finish to a thrilling Cup race in Atlanta.

Karsyn Elledge, Tommy Baldwin, and Eric Brennan are joined by JR Motorsports wheelman Rajah Caruth to talk through all the headlines from Trucks at Lime Rock to Cup at Hot-lanta.

Rajah dives into what his season’s been like split between the No. 88 and No. 32, his chances at making The Chase, and what it’s like having Dale Jr himself come over the radio and give him some advice in the middle of the race. Tommy finally has nothing egregious to say about Carson Hocevar’s driving after The Hurricane scored another Top-5 finish after nearly winning the Cup race. Karsyn explains how she wishes the JR Motorsports drivers had worked closer together at the end of the O’Reilly race, but Allgaier still got them the beer toast anyway.

In Spot On, Spot Off, we cover:

    • Did Hocevar not get a push because of his attitude?
    • The Bubba Wallace below-the-line penalty...
    • Was worn-out Atlanta the cause for the O'Reilly chaos?
    • Does Rajah Caruth think he's making the NOAPS Chase?
    • Should NASCAR always have some form of practice?

Plus, does NASCAR need practice at drafting tracks? And could we see a new rules package for the Cup Series as soon as Daytona next month?

Reaction Theatre, Ask DBC, and S*** Show Hall of Fame wrap up another fantastic episode.

  • Why Tommy Baldwin Couldn't Leave Ward Burton & The 22 Team
    2026/07/06

We've been waiting to get these guests on for a while, but the wait is finally over! Jeb and Ward Burton join the show to talk all things Chicagoland, the outdoors, and more with Tommy Baldwin on Door Bumper Clear.

Eric Brennan returns and leads Jeb into a conversation about how his NOAPS season is going and just how competitive the field really is. Then, after Tommy and Ward share some stories from the good old days, they get knee-deep into the action from Chicagoland's Independence Day race weekend.

In Spot On, Spot Off, the topics we cover include:

    • Did SVG get payback on Austin Hill like Richard Childress said he did?
    • Does NASCAR need to step in and slow down Toyota?
    • Brad Keselowski's comments on the lack of collaboration outside Toyota camps
    • The restart Chase Elliott wishes he could have back

The fans call in with hot takes and the usual incoherent babble for Reaction Theatre, including one caller who passionately screams about hot dogs (?). For Ask DBC, we ask Ward Burton about the memories he shares with Tommy—the good, the bad, and the unseen—while Jeb talks about growing up around wildlife alongside his dad, who is going python hunting!

We wrap up the show with S*** Show Hall of Fame, DBC Picks, Weekend Winners, and a sign-off until next time on DBC.

  • Chris Rice On Kaulig's Partnership With RAM: "We Were Going To Die"
    2026/06/29

The gang is all back from the West Coast swing, though we are still down Freddie while he rests his vocal cords up — and this week we invited Mr. Smile himself, Chris Rice, CEO of Kaulig Racing, to join us!

We start off by getting background on Chris, the time he spent working with Tommy Baldwin, and everything that Kaulig Racing currently has going on. After that, they dish about Sonoma and the races that took place there over the weekend, which was AJ Allmendinger's 500th Career Cup start.

But before we got into Spot On, Spot Off, we had to ask him about the elephant in the room — the rumor of Dodge going Cup racing in 2027.

The topics the Door Bumper Clear crew debated this week included:

    • Will SVG make the 2026 Chase?
    • More Hocevar drama...
    • Connor Zilisch's move to stay out for Stage 2 in the O'Reilly Race
    • NASCAR's newest change with the foam inserts coming out of the Cup cars' bumpers
    • Should Chicagoland be on the 2027 schedule?

To close out the show, we had a fan call in blaming Hocevar for his relationship status, we ask Chris about his passionate personality, and we rattle off the winners from around the racing world.

  • San Diego Blew Ray Evernham & Bozi Tatarevic Away
    2026/06/22

We may be missing Freddie as he is on vocal rest, but we replaced him with TWO beasts of the industry -- Ray Evernham & Bozi Tatarevic!

Tommy starts us off how only he can, and it doesn't take long for us to get knee-deep in all things San Diego. The crew discusses the racing that happened over the weekend, from Tyler Reif coming so close to Sam Mayer's massive hit.

In Spot On, Spot Off, the topics were:

    - Was San Diego better than Chicago and Mexico City?

    - Could Corey Heim have been a playoff contender this year in Cup?

    - Discussing Taylor Gray's move on Carson Kvapil

    - Jimmie Johnson's comments on the lack of respect in the Truck Series

As usual, we get to hear from our fans, and one of them *allegedly* used their one phone call from jail to join the show. After that, we hear from NASCAR's Jerry Kaproth on everything that went into making the race at San Diego happen — and how Ty Gibbs almost blew the surprise.

In Ask DBC, we ask Bozi to power rank pit crews and Ray Evernham about when he knew Jeff Gordon was a future G.O.A.T.

They round it all out with DBC Picks and weekend winners, which didn't hit the same without Freddie — so he needs to come back soon!

Catch you guys next time on DBC. Don't forget to check out our merch at shop.dirtymomedia.com!

  • Chris Lambert: What Sets Denny Apart & Why Spotting Wins Ain't "Easy"
    2026/06/15

Fresh off a tripleheader weekend of ARCA, Trucks, and Cup at The Tricky Triangle, DBC is back in the studio – once again praising the domination of Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 after his third straight win from the pole.

On this episode, Chris Lambert – spotter for the No. 11 of Denny Hamlin – joins the show as a guest to talk about what’s made the No. 11 team so strong in 2026, his journey into spotting at NASCAR’s top level, and his thoughts on all the hot topics from this past weekend.

Also, the group notes that NASCAR had tech trailers parked at the track in Pocono – front and center - but the No. 11 and No. 45 were not taken for testing.

Plus, Jimmie Johnson does a drunk interview at Le Mans, Legacy is starting to contend for wins, and everyone has plenty of questions about how this weekend will go in San Diego.

Everything wraps up with Reaction Theatre, S*** Show HOF, and Ask DBC.

  • Bubba Wallace & Riley Herbst Talk Hocevar, Replacing Freddie & "Clocking It"
    2026/06/08

The DBC gang is back in studio after a LONG wreck-filled Cup Race in the Irish Hills of Michigan, this time with a pair of 23XI Racing teammates in Bubba Wallace and Riley Herbst.

The episode starts with a recap of both drivers’ weekends, followed by some high praise for Riley Herbst from Bubba Wallace for the teammate he’s been. The group talks about Cleetus McFarland’s performance in the ARCA and Trucks race, the difference between racing both vehicles, and what Ford seems to be missing from a lackluster performance in their own backyard.

Plus, Bubba Wallace opens up about what it's like to race around Carson Hocevar, his post-race conversation with The Hurricane that had social media buzzing, and how there’s a difference between racing hard and racing stupid.

The group debates if Denny Hamlin will retire at the end of next season, their Mt. Rushmore of NASCAR drivers, who is at fault for the massive wreck on the restart of the Cup race, and much more.

As always, Reaction Theatre brings the laughs, followed by S*** Show HOF and Ask DBC.

Plus, Freddie shouts out all of the weekend winners from around the country.

  • We Finally Got Cleetus McFarland On The Show
    2026/06/01

This is the episode you've all been waiting for. We're putting 'em on the dash for today's episode as Cleetus McFarland joins the Door Bumper Clear gang remotely this Monday to discuss his latest NASCAR ventures - including Saturday's NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race. But he's not alone. Danny Stockman, aka Downforce Danny, joins us in studio to kick off the month of June right.

Tommy gets candid with Cleetus about the DBC gang's true feelings towards the internet star, and why the keyboard warriors are all wrong about their concerns. Squirrell McNutt makes a surprise cameo to ask his buddy Cleetus a very important question, and the crew digests Ryan Preece's penalty being upheld by the appeals panel.

Plus, Cleetus details the plans for his newly purchased Pro Late Model as he sets his sights on the ultimate goal: an eventual start in the Daytona 500. Spot On Spot Off, Reaction Theater, Ask DBC, and S*** Show Hall of Fame make this episode a must watch!

  • Remembering Rowdy with Eric Brennan & Tony Hirschman
    2026/05/26

The NASCAR family lost a member of its Mount Rushmore this week — Kyle Busch passed away at the age of 41. And while it may seem like no words can explain the grief the entire racing community feels, we invited his longtime spotter, Tony Hirschman, to the Door Bumper Clear table to share fond memories and mourn along our side.

Also joining us is the newest phenom to hit the booth, Eric Brennan, who was the first to address the television airwaves after Rowdy's passing.

We open up with Tony, Eric, Freddie Kraft, Tommy Baldwin, and Karsyn Elledge all describing the past few days and remembering the kind of person, father, and racer Kyle Busch was to all of us.

After that, we get onto the racing this weekend — or lack thereof, thanks to Mother Nature's weather patterns.

In Spot On, Spot Off, the crew covers:

    - Should Kyle Busch be instantly added to the NASCAR Hall of Fame?

    - The full circle moment of the Coca-Cola 600 trophy returning to Spire Motorsports, which was formerly Kyle Busch Motorsports

    - Questionable weather calls for the O'Reilly Series race

    - And whether or not the truck race could have gone one more lap

In Reaction Theatre, fans called in to share memories of meeting Rowdy and lift our spirits with some jokes along the way. In Ask DBC, we ask the spotters how difficult it is to tell the red, white, and blue paint schemes apart on Memorial Day Weekend. And in DBC Picks, the gang chooses their top dogs for Nashville.

This might not have been the most fun show to tape, but it was important for all of us to get together and honor Kyle Busch's life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, Kurt, and the entire Busch family as they go through this tragic time.
