--- 🏃♂️ EPISODE OVERVIEW ---
In Episode 136 of the Local Runners Podcast, we sit down with Oriel Hardman and talk about how she got into running. From beating the boys in PE, to being on a start line on the worlds stage at a young age. Oriel tells us about how she handled the pressure of being so good as a junior, and how she would change it if she could go back. She also talks about RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) and how she didn't know about what it was or how to spot the signs. Oriel is now running for Salford Harriers and trains with some of the younger athletes. She tells us how much she has learned from them and how it takes her back. Oriel is a big advocate for how good the relationship in the Salford's Women's Team is and how they help each other. She is a big "nerd" when it comes to numbers in training too, but she doesn't do social media... will she get pressured into it by her Salford team mates?
