After WWE made the rather bold decision to split all their good and bad matches from WrestleMania onto separate nights, it felt like there was a bit of course correction happening with Backlash – an event that we both thought was better than expected. Since then, it’s been mostly, to quote the great Jim Cornette, the drizzling shits.
