Grab a cuppa, Come join Jan Lloyd Naturopathic Health Coach regarding Neurodiversity around mealtimes. Jan will share her knowledge and observations from working in both an ADHD/ASD clinic and in a CAMHS Eating Disorder Unit.
As the spectrum is so vast, it is a huge topic with so much expert evidence and opinions out there and so we invite you to come along with all your views and experience around any stressful mealtimes.
Mealtime Remedies was created in response to concerns shared by students and practitioners about the challenges families face around the dinner table—not just around food itself, but the atmosphere in which it is shared. Through both professional insight and lived experience, it became clear that many people grew up with mealtimes that felt controlled, tense, or lacking in genuine connection, and these early patterns often continue into adult life. At its core is the recognition that mealtimes were once a sacred space where families came together in presence and relationship, something that has been lost in many homes. When children act out at the table, it is often an expression of something deeper—a need for guidance, attention, or safety—rather than a simple issue with eating. Mealtime Remedies exists to support families in restoring a more grounded and connected experience of eating together.
