If you've played in a Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) event in the last 24 years, you likely know who Ken Hartmann is. Jon and Chris got to hear the other side of GAM and USGA tournament golf as it pertains to setup, rules, complaints, and everything in between. Ken tells some entertaining stories from years past, and provides some details regarding his golf background. There were a lot of laughs to go around. Congratulations to Ken for being named the 2026 recipient of the Michigan PGA Distinguished Service Award! The award honors outstanding individuals who display leadership and humanitarian qualities, including integrity, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the game of golf.
