This Independence Day, we're grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans—but even more grateful for the freedom we've been given through Jesus Christ.

Our Founding Fathers recognized that our rights come from our Creator, not from government. Scripture reminds us that true unity isn't built on everyone agreeing—it's built on humility, love, and a shared faith in Christ.

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." — Ephesians 4:3

As we celebrate our nation's birthday, let's also recommit ourselves to being peacemakers, loving our neighbors, praying for our leaders, and remembering that our highest citizenship is in the Kingdom of God.

May God continue to bless America as His people faithfully live for Him.

Before Jesus went to the cross, He prayed for one thing that still matters today:

Unity doesn't mean we agree on everything.
It means we are bound together by Someone greater than our differences.

When believers choose humility over pride, forgiveness over offense, and love over division, the world gets a glimpse of Christ.

Let's be people who answer Jesus' prayer by pursuing unity wherever God has placed us.

Jesus calls us to something different.

"Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good." — Romans 12:21

Unity isn't sustained because people stop hurting one another. Unity is sustained when believers refuse to return hurt for hurt, insult for insult, or offense for offense.

When we choose forgiveness over revenge, grace over bitterness, and peace over hostility, we reflect the heart of Christ.

The cross is the ultimate example of overcoming evil with good.
