In Episode 5 we explore some basic relationships between societies and governments and take an imaginary trip to the rudimentary formation of what it might have been like in early America, including its tangible and intangible aspects and functions. Then we begin the important discussion about how to tell when a democracy is broken by acknowledging that ours was broken Ab initio from the perspective of three groups of people, how that has changed, its history, and its impact on the fluctuating positions America has struggled with concerning immigration.

Episode_004 explores the dangers posed to a democracy by its sponsorship of propaganda as revealed by America’s use of that practice during World War I with the Committee on Public Information, a/k/a The Creel Committee, and its connection to the Nazi propaganda machine so vital to Hitler’s domination and control over the German citizenry.

Episode_003 reviews major historical incidents where our leaders have abused the trust of the citizenry by distorting or concealing facts, how it has impacted our democracy, and why it is appropriate to draw comparisons between the conduct of Trump and Hitler. It is historically relevant and disturbingly enlightening while demonstrating clearly the need for “facts” and “truth” to be foundational tenets of a democracy.

Episode 1 addresses the common “conundrum” of the MAGA mindset a/k/a the alternate universe, its weaponization of the Chaos Theory (a psychological phenomenon), that salvaging or restoring our democracy is based on realistic optimism, understanding Trump’s agenda, how to interpret what Trump says, and much more.
