  • Homily | April 18, 2026 | When God Feels Absent And Life Keeps Moving (Episode 94)
    2026/04/18

It’s possible to be doing the right thing and still feel like you’re stuck in the dark. We start with a single, easy-to-miss line from the Gospel: night has fallen, the wind is against the disciples, and Jesus has not yet come. That moment is painfully familiar, the season when you keep moving forward, trying to be faithful, but God feels quiet, far, or absent. We name the loneliness, the fear, and the temptation to assume silence means abandonment.

Then we zoom out to the early Church and notice something just as honest: growth doesn’t eliminate problems. As the community expands, people are overlooked, frustration builds, and division threatens unity. Instead of panicking, the apostles respond with clarity and wisdom. They call for Spirit-filled leaders, create structure, and let shared service protect the mission. It’s a grounded reminder that God can be present even when a community is messy, pressured, and unsure what comes next.

Finally, we return to the storm and the surprising twist: when Jesus comes, the disciples don’t recognize Him right away, and they’re afraid. Sometimes God’s help doesn’t look like instant fixes or quick answers. Sometimes it sounds like three steady words: “It is I. Do not be afraid.” We talk about what changes when His presence is enough, how to keep rowing when you can’t see the shoreline, and why real faith is often built in the dark. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s struggling, and leave a review with what helps you keep trusting when you can’t feel God.

  • Homily | April 17, 2026 | Bring What You Have And Watch It Multiply (Episode 93)
    2026/04/17

We contrast cautious, safe faith with real trust, using Gamaliel’s wait and see approach and the feeding of the five thousand. We land on a simple challenge: offer what you have right now and let God multiply it.
    • Gamaliel’s measured advice as wisdom without conviction
    • The temptation to live near God while keeping a safe distance
    • Philip’s realistic numbers and why logic alone can stall faith
    • Andrew’s honest question of scarcity and our shared “not enough” mindset
    • Jesus’ response, “Bring it to me,” as the shift from caution to trust
    • The miracle beginning with an offering rather than abundance
    • Availability over perfection as a practical rule for discipleship
    • Twelve baskets leftover as a sign of God’s abundance
    • A direct invitation to surrender the small thing we keep holding back

  • Homily | April 16, 2026 | Stay Faithful Under Pressure (Episode 92)
    2026/04/16

We wrestle with the hardest part of Acts 5:29: “We must obey God rather than men,” especially when faith stops being comfortable and starts costing us. We look at Peter’s shift from fear to steady conviction and ask what it means to choose truth over pressure in everyday life.
    • why obedience feels easy until it has a price
    • the apostles facing the Sanhedrin and the command to stop
    • the choice between staying safe and staying faithful
    • “we must” as necessity rather than preference
    • objective truth that sits above feelings and social approval
    • faith as witness to a person rather than an adjustable idea
    • the question of whose voice shapes our decisions under pressure
    • quiet conviction built in small steps over time
Stay grounded. Stay clear. Stay faithful. Make Christ your priority.
