Ewing famously played Center for the Knicks, leading the squad during the Chicago Bulls run with Michael Jordan. Ewings teams were perennially in contention for a title but never quite made in to the mountain top. Still Knicks fans of that era will tell you what a joy it was to watch those teams play. There is a reason that Rick Brunson still says today, that Patrick Ewing is the greatest Knick ever.

    But now in 2026, the Jalen Brunson led squad are champions. The big fella gives his opinion on this years team. He also shares how he may have played a small part in their title run. His also discusses his joy in being back together with the Knicks.And he shares his one lasting regret in regards to New York years.

  • Rod Strickland: The Former NY Knick, SA Spur & Current LIU Coach Joins The Show

    New York legend, the Point God, Rod Strickland joins the Bottom Line Sports Show. During his 16 year NBA career was known for his slick passing style and unique ability to finish under the rim. He remains 14th on the NBA All Time Assist list.

    Strickland is currently the head coach of the Long Island University Sharks, and led his squad to their first NCAA Tournament in nine years.

    Gerald Brown has a unique history with Strickland, as Gerald was a New York Knick ball boy when Rod was drafted by the team. Gerald talks to Rod about those times and about the rest of his NBA journey.

    Rod addresses why he may have been a bit over looked during his NBA career, atleast as far as accolades. Rod also admits that he may have played a part in his reputation around the league. But the talents were undeniable. His name is engraved in the minds of 1990's NBA fans, and Hip-hop fans as well.

    Now a college coach Rod explains how his basketball knowledge and personal growth has helped him grow into his job.
