    Dr Jane Malthus is a life member of the Association of the Friends of Tūhura and former Friends’ Patron. No-one knows threads, fibres and fashion like Jane, so who better to fill you in! And who better to kick-start our Friends Forever podcast series. Jane is the honorary curator of the dress collection at Tūhura Otago Museum and impresses our hosts with her knowledge of the rich textile history of Otago and New Zealand. Going back to the 80s and 90s, she sheds light on her work with the Friends - from fundraising for the Museum’s Costumes and Textiles Unit to exhibitions, and even the politics of the sector.
