In this… “extra” episode of the podcast, Joe sits down with the Idaho 4-H State Teen Officers during their preparations for the State Teen Association Convention.

The officers recount some of the tall tales that they’ve amassed over their time as officers. Joe interjects to keep some form of control, but things quickly fall off the rails.

In this episode, we sit down with an old friend; Jeremy Hampton! Jeremy has been a volunteer for Idaho 4-H programs for several decades, at this point. His own children grew up in the program and held various leadership positions. Now, even after his own children have grown and “left the nest,” Jeremy is still volunteering. He works to raise funds for the programs he’s involved with in Eastern Idaho, and he continues to teach, inspire, and foster the next generation of great leaders in Idaho 4-H.

Jeremy was recognized at the county, district, and state levels with the Distinguished Service Award in 2025. This achievement is a milestone for any leader, and signifies the tireless efforts of a leader to support the Idaho 4-H program. The Idaho 4-H Roundup has showcased several of these terrific leaders over the years, and their stories always inspire greatness. Go back to listen from our other friends.
