    Episode 29 of In My Defense is titled “Opening Day,” and this week, Canty and Que cover everything from baseball’s return to March Madness shaking up the bracket.

    First, the guys react to MLB Opening Day, including the Yankees’ strong start, Max Fried setting the tone on the mound, and what New York’s early form says about the season ahead.


    Then they get into the latest on Patrick Mahomes, who is already throwing ahead of schedule as he works back from injury. The big question: should the Chiefs push for an early return, or slow-play it and think bigger picture?


    From there, they talk NBA, including the Celtics beating OKC, why Boston still looks dangerous with Jayson Tatum back, and the Timberwolves’ stunning comeback win over the Rockets that showed just how dangerous Minnesota can be in the West. Finally, the episode closes with March Madness, as Canty and Que run through their Top 5 unexpected wins or losses from the NCAA Tournament so far.
