After declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, former North Carolina Central (HBCU) defensive back Jelani Vassell joins the Call The Huddle podcast to talk his career and time in football so far. Vassell went to Jireh Prep school in North Carolina during 2020, before earning a walk-on spot with the Eagles' squad in 2021. He finished his 2025 season with North Carolina Central with a conference-high 5 interceptions, 57 total tackles, 4 passes deflected and 2.5 tackles for loss in 12 games over his RS-senior year.
