In last week’s episode, Robin and his friends finally arrive at the greenhouses with the dog food they have managed to collect from the former puppy mill, and they convince Greg and Gary to house as many of the shelter dogs there as they can. While helping transfer the dogs the next day, they run into the Vaulken Gang members again. The Vaulkens are in the process of robbing a grocery store. Robin and his friends manage to subdue the gang members until the police get there.
In Chapter 13, the last chapter, we get a wrap-up of everyone’s part in setting things right for the dogs. You will also hear several dog rescue stories from 2nd Chance to Shine, a nonprofit program that rehabilitates and trains dogs who’ve been rescued by different rescue groups and organizations throughout the Midwest, but have issues that have deemed them to be unadoptable.
