Growing up in London - I witnessed a lot of violence, and it's only when I moved away from the city that I realised how good life is when you're not constantly on guard.

There's something weird that happens when you start making money off your own back - especially when you've been an employee your whole life. Maybe it's just me, but I almost feel as though I have to apologise for it!

Why do we hide who we truly are?

It's so easy to fall into the trap of living by invisible standards that are set by "society".

It's weirdly easy to lose yourself as you move through life. When you're younger - you know exactly who you are, and your identity changes week by week, but how can we ever claim to live a "full" life if we're not being authentic...?

  • 15. You can't outperform the story you tell yourself
    2026/02/12

You can’t outperform the story you tell yourself...not consistently, because your results don’t start with your talent or your circumstances - they start with the script running in the background: what you believe you’re capable of, what you think things mean, and the identity you keep rehearsing.

In this solo episode, I break down how those internal stories quietly shape everything.

A lot of us don’t fail because we’re not good enough - we fail because we keep repeating the same narrative:

    “I’m not that guy.”

    “It never works for me.”

“I’ll start when things calm down.”

And over time, we build a life that matches the story.

This episode is about spotting the script, challenging it, and choosing a better one - not through motivation… but through honesty and repetition.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, flat, or like you’re living under your potential, this might resonate.
