Finding Common Ground: Sharing Your Faith with Compassion and Purpose

In this episode of the Kingdom Bible Cast, hosts Lawrence Lee and Keith Cannon continue their discussion on evangelism and outreach by exploring the importance of finding common ground when sharing the Gospel.

Drawing from 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, they examine how the Apostle Paul intentionally connected with different groups of people in order to effectively communicate the message of Jesus Christ. Through practical examples and biblical insights, they discuss how believers can build meaningful relationships, show genuine compassion, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide their conversations.

The discussion also highlights Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman in John 4, demonstrating how simple conversations and everyday needs can become powerful opportunities for spiritual transformation.

    * Why prayer is essential before sharing your faith

    * How Paul adapted his approach without compromising the Gospel

    * The importance of listening and understanding people’s needs

    * How Jesus used common ground to open hearts to truth

    * Practical ways to connect with coworkers, neighbors, friends, and even strangers

    * Why compassion and discipleship go hand in hand

Whether you’re new to evangelism or looking for encouragement to reach others more effectively, this conversation will inspire you to share God’s love with wisdom, sensitivity, and purpose.

  • The Lord of The Harvest! Matthew 9:35-38
    2026/06/01

Are we truly doing enough to rally the harvest?** 🤔

*Drop a 🔥 if you’re ready to be part of the solution* 💥

Today, we explored the powerful images Jesus painted in Matthew 9:36-38 — seeing the crowds overwhelmed, harassed, and helpless, he was moved with compassion.

He didn’t just observe; he responded by praying for more workers and encouraging us to do the same.

The harvest is plentiful — what’s missing? The laborers. 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Think about it: the fields are ripe *now*. Are you praying for courage, wisdom, and opportunity to share the gospel?

It’s not about being perfect or knowing every scripture — it’s about starting with compassion and boldness.

Prayer aligns our hearts with God’s mission, turning us into harvest workers.

So, who in your life needs to experience God's love today?

Tag them, pray for them, and step out in faith — the fields are ready. 🌾

**Worth pondering:** Are we doing our part or waiting for the perfect moment that may never come?

  • Adam Where Are You? Part 2 With Co-Host Brother Keith Cannon
    2026/05/04

Thank You for tuning in! In this episode Myself and Brother Keith Cannon discuss Genesis 3:8-19. In this episode we see the results of Adam’s disobedience to God’s command, we see by the simple act of disobedience to God the fall out has been a separation of intimacy of the relationship between God and mankind. God and mankind should be in step with one another, there should be no separation between God and mankind. Also there should be no separation between Adam and Eve, because of the disobedience of Man there became disorder between Adam and Eve, when asked by God why did Adam eat the fruit from the tree He told them not to eat of Adam immediately blamed God, and then blamed Eve actually calling Her “the woman” You gave Me. This was the “blame shift” Adam did not accept responsibility for the part He played in this act of disobedience. As you listen to this episode my prayer is that you reflect on the story of the fall of Man and how through our new life with Jesus Christ we can live in obedience to God! I pray this episode will be a blessing to you all, please subscribe and share and continue to pray for us that The Lord will continue to guide us and direct us as we bring these episodes to you! Blessings!

  • Adam Where Are You? Genesis 3:1-7 (Part 1 ) with Brother Keith Cannon
    2026/03/30

Happy Palm Sunday Everyone!! In this episode myself and Brother Keith Cannon read Mark 11 entitled the triumphant entry of Jesus. Some of you may remember this passage of Jesus riding into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey while the people celebrated His entry with palm branches crying Hosanna! The same crowd who celebrated Jesus’s entry was the same crowd who would later want Him crucified, they would later chant Crucify Him with anger. We also read Genesis 3:1-7 which is our main topic entitled “Adam Where Are You?” We see in this passage of scripture Eve is approached in The Garden by the serpent who deceives Eve with questions about the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, God’s instructions Adam & Eve was to never eat from this tree. Why did Adam allow Eve to eat the fruit from this tree from which they were told to never eat from it? Listen to this wonderful discussion between Myself and Brother Keith as we discuss what leadership looks like in the midst of temptation. I hope you all enjoy this episode. Please share and subscribe and keep our podcast in your thoughts and prayers!! Thank You

  • The King Has Come!
    2026/03/29

Hey Thank You for tuning in! In celebration of Palm Sunday I take the time to reflect in this solo episode about the importance of Palm Sunday the meaning of it and how we as believers can prepare for Holy Week. This was the final week of Jesus’s earthly life on earth and the finale to His earthly ministry. Like the end of a series finale Holy Week is bringing up reflections of what Jesus Christ was preparing to do for all of humanity, Jesus was God’s sacrifice for us all, he was preparing Him in this final week to be led to the cross, almost like Abraham was preparing his son Isaac to be a sacrifice. This was not easy, as believers do not let this week go by like any other week, take this time to fast from a meal or activity whether it be from social media or television, and take inventory of your relationship with God. Ask yourself are you living a life that is pleasing to God or are you just going through the motions or are you just existing. Reconnect with God today make a renewed commitment to Him. God Bless you

  • The Kingdom of God
    2026/03/22

Hey Everyone thanks for tuning in. Today’s episode will be a topic that has been in my heart and mind. With everything going in the world today it’s more important than ever before to keep our minds and hearts on The Kingdom of God. Jesus was asked “what will be sign of Jesus’s return” and “when will the end of the world be?” He responded first with “do not be deceived” it’s so important with the rise of social media, artificial intelligence, corporate media, the political climate, and even the twisting and mishandling of the teaching of scripture in some our churches both in person and online. Do not be deceived, do not be deceived, DO NOT BE DECEIVED! Jesus is coming back soon even sooner than when it was written in the Bible. Read and study the scriptures, increase your devotion to God through Jesus Christ. And as always pray without ceasing, share your testimony about your encounter with God through Jesus Christ. “ Be prepared to give an answer to someone for the hope that you have” 1 Peter 3:15 Thank you for listening and God Bless You!
