I am a child, adolescent and young adult therapist in private practice in the Denver, Colorado area! But most recently- I wrote a book called With Love from a Children’s Therapist: #lessonsihavelearnedalongtheway. It is part my story of resilience from a traumatic childhood, and part wisdom extracted from being on the other side of couch from kids as a clinician for the past 20 years. 🙂 www.stacyschaffer.com 🫶🏻💜🦋

I’d love to talk about anything you want and I’ve been on podcasts talking about youth mental health, trauma, the culture of kids today and anything adjacent

    Hope to hear from you!

  • 31: Jason Harris in the hot seat
    2026/04/02

Jason is a very passionate speaker who has been in leadership for over 35 years. He is a certified celebrant, aftercare specialist, preneed funeral counselor, author and speaker who is most passionate about grief support and helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones (committed to putting the "FUN" in "funeral").

Born in Ft. Worth, TX, Jason currently lives in Temple, TX with his miniature dachshunds, Chewy and Leia and his cat, Aslan. He works with Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center in Temple, TX. People are often surprised at how much they laugh and have fun attending his talk: “Five Questions That Will Change Your Life.”

Jason has been told by multiple funeral directors, “We have never had so much laughter coming out of our funeral chapel than when you do services here.” Laughter through tears is a very healing emotion. Listen to Jason explain how and why grieving families benefit more from a celebration than a sermon while you learn what to say (and more importantly, what NOT to say) to someone who is grieving.

Jamie Sylvian is the author of The Executive Nomad Operating System and the founder of ExecutiveNomad.com. For over 30 years he has worked at executive level as an independent consultant, operating executive level with Billion Dollar companies globally, British Peers, the Royal British Family and across borders while advising senior leaders inside complex organisations.

Today, Jamie helps experienced professionals rewire their corporate identity, repackage their expertise, and repurpose decades of experience into consulting, coaching, non-executive, and advisory work that is location-independent. His focus is not on job hunting. It is on building a borderless, reputation-based business rooted in real world credibility.

Through his writing, podcast appearances, and workshops, Jamie challenges the assumption that executives over 40 or 50 must compete in the job market. Instead, he shows how to convert career capital into intellectual property and structured offers that generate income on their own terms.

Jamie has lived in 13 countries.

He speaks on career reinvention, location independence, executive positioning, and how to build a premium advisory practice without becoming an influencer or chasing trends.

    2026/03/26

Today’s guest is Chip Scholz. Chip describes himself simply as a man with a lathe, a pocketknife, and a few stories.

Over the course of a long career in business and coaching, he learned that the most important lessons rarely arrive in dramatic moments. They show up quietly—in family conversations, career detours, and even in a woodshop while shaping a block of maple.

Those reflections became the foundation for his newest book, Every Dog Has Its Day, a thoughtful collection of stories about life, craft, and the small decisions that shape who we become.

If you enjoy thoughtful stories about work, life, and the lessons hiding in ordinary moments, you can find more of my writing at scholzandassociates.com.

There’s also a page called “What’s Chip Reading?”, where I keep a list of books that have influenced how I think about leadership, curiosity, and living well.

  • 25: Marcie Dean in the hot seat
    2026/03/25

Marcie Dean is a Sound Architect, the founder of LovEvolve Music, and a pioneer bridging the gap between science and spirit. For twenty years, she was a Senior UX Design Leader building enterprise systems for tech giants like IBM and AWS. But Marcie doesn’t teach "career pivots"—she teaches rebirth after total annihilation.

In a devastating window of time, Marcie’s world was shattered. She watched her soulmate drown while heroically saving his son. Upon returning from grief leave, she was laid off by AWS, instantly losing her 20-year corporate identity. Before she could catch her breath, she lost her brother to a fatal overdose. Stripped of her love, her career, and her blood, Marcie didn't break. She listened.

Answering a divine calling, she cashed out her entire corporate retirement and bet it all on a vision from the other side. Over the last two years, she has channeled and produced over 400 genre-bending "Sonic Medicine" tracks. Today, Marcie uses her deep systems-thinking and proprietary spirit frequencies to manually reset the human nervous system—healing neurodivergent children, burned-out entrepreneurs, and those navigating impossible grief. She is living proof that our deepest tragedies are the exact blueprints for our greatest technological and spiritual breakthroughs.
