Welcome to the Pick n Mix Podcast where we chat about all things media and culture.
Despite the British weather it is definitely summer now, so Jesse, Chloe, Millie and Alfie chat about music festivals and gigs. The team review some recent events such as the Radio 1 Big Weekend, reminisce about their first music concerts, and get excited for the upcoming Harry Styles gigs. Senior lecturer Rob Jewitt joins Georgie Woodburn for the ‘academic bit’ and talks Sam Fender at St James’s Park, super fans, Pink Floyd, secret gigs and The Lindisfarne Festival in Northumberland in September.
