Press play to find out.) Then they ask the impossible question: are the Rockies more entertaining than the Giants?
On the cocktail side of things, today Matthew is drinking a 5th of July while Ben is getting Mountain High. Recipes below.
5th of July- 2 oz Gin
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Demerara Syrup
- 3 strawberries
- 5 blueberries
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Tiny pinch of sea salt
- Muddle berries and syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients plus ice and shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with mint sprig and couple of blueberries.
Mountain High
- 2 oz Tequila blanco
- 1 oz Blood orange juice
- 1/4 oz Grenadine
- Layer the grenadine on the bottom of an empty rocks glass. Fill the rocks glass with ice. Combine tequila and blood orange juice in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled and strain into the prepared rocks glass. Garnish with a blood orange wheel.
