  • Phillies Continue Losing Home Series, Is The Home Field Advantage Gone?
    2026/04/17

🔴 PHILLIES IN CRISIS? Home Field Nightmare, Luzardo's Meltdown & Phils Can't Hit Lefties + Angry Fan Tweets The Philadelphia Phillies are 8-10 and the alarm bells are ringing at Citizens Bank Park. In today's episode, we break down THREE major concerns threatening to derail this team's 2026 season — plus your UNFILTERED reactions in our Angry Fan Tweets segment! 🏟️ NO HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE? Citizens Bank Park used to be a fortress. Now it feels like a vacation spot for opposing teams. We dig into why the Phillies aren't protecting their home turf and what it means for the rest of the season. ⚾ JESÚS LUZARDO'S EARLY-SEASON DISASTER The Phillies gave him a 5-year, $135 million extension — and through four starts, Luzardo has a bloated 7.94 ERA, has surrendered 28 hits in 22⅔ innings, and allowed five or more earned runs in THREE of those outings. Is he tipping pitches again? Is this a fluke or something more serious? We break it all down. 🆚 PHILLIES VS. LEFT-HANDED PITCHING: THE WORST IN BASEBALL A .158 batting average and dead-last ranking in the MLB against southpaws. The Phils are 0-4 in games started by a left-hander this season. Shota Imanaga, Robbie Ray, MacKenzie Gore — lefties are making this lineup look like a Little League team. We examine who's struggling most and whether Rob Thomson's platoons are actually helping. 😤 ANGRY FAN TWEETS SEGMENT Phillies Twitter is FURIOUS. We read and react to the most passionate, unfiltered fan takes of the week. Philly fans don't hold back — and neither do we.

  • Kyle Schwarber Is One Of MLB’s Most Irreplaceable Players
    2026/04/15

On today's episode, we're diving deep into the Phillies' latest highs and lows — and there were plenty of both. Topics covered:

🔨 Kyle Schwarber's case as one of the best Phillies signings EVER — where he ranks all-time in franchise home run history and why his prime has only gotten better in red pinstripes

📉 The Peaks & Valleys of this Phillies team — what's stopping them from stringing wins together? Pitching, hitting, or just flat-out getting in their own way? Plus, Adolis Garcia's CANNON of an arm and the Brandon Marsh lefty situation.

💸 The Aaron Nola problem — 1,900 career strikeouts, second all-time in Phillies history behind Steve Carlton, but is his contract one of the worst value deals in MLB? We break down his numbers since signing the extension.

🔥 Bullpen watch — Mayza struggles, Keller looks sharp and Seth Johnson optioned back down.

⚡ Zack Wheeler is CLOSE — 5 scoreless innings, 8 Ks, sitting 93-94 mph in his latest Lehigh Valley rehab start. One more outing or is it time to bring him back?

🏺 Final Word: Brad Lidge goes full Indiana Jones — the Phillies legend is now on the Penn Museum board!

  • Phillies Offensive Droughts Are Causing Fans To Panic I PHLY Phillies Podcast
    2026/04/13

🔴 THE PHILLIES ARE BROKEN — Offense, Rotation Problems & What Needs to Change NOW The Philadelphia Phillies are off to a disappointing 7-8 start in 2026, sitting 3rd in the NL East — already 3 games behind the red-hot Atlanta Braves. They just dropped 2 of 3 at home to the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the issues go far deeper than just the lineup. The pitching staff has been inconsistent, the bullpen is being stretched thin, and the offense keeps going ice cold at the worst possible moments. This team has the talent to compete with anyone in the National League — so why does it keep finding new ways to disappoint? ⚾ THE ROTATION: A TALE OF THREE STARTERS 🔥 Andrew Painter — The 22-year-old rookie has been the brightest spot on this pitching staff. He gutted out an incredible performance Sunday against Arizona, coming out of the bullpen after being scratched with a migraine and delivering 5 innings of 1-run ball with 7 strikeouts. At home this season, Painter has been filthy — allowing just 2 earned runs over 10⅓ innings pitched (1.76 ERA). He's not the problem. He's the future. But can this team really afford to lean on a rookie this heavily? 😬 Jesús Luzardo — The expectations were high for Luzardo as one of the rotation's key pieces, but his 6.23 ERA through 16.1 innings has been a major concern. He's given up 12 earned runs and hasn't been able to get deep enough into games, forcing the bullpen to carry a heavy workload. When Luzardo is off, this team has no margin for error. 😤 THE OFFENSE: WHERE ARE THE RUNS? Even when the pitching gives this team a chance, the lineup keeps going cold at the wrong time. Three straight games against Arizona, the Phillies scored ALL of their runs in a single inning each game. Bryce Harper has been scorching — hitting safely in 6 straight games and carrying this lineup — but he can't do it alone. Alec Bohm, Bryson Stott, and the right-handed side of this lineup have been consistently unproductive. ⚾ Topics covered: ✅ Phillies' brutal 7-8 start & NL East standings breakdown ✅ Andrew Painter's dominant rookie campaign — and why it's not enough ✅ Jesús Luzardo's early ERA struggles explained ✅ How the bullpen is being taxed by rotation failures ✅ Offensive inconsistencies — the Phillies' one-inning scoring habit ✅ What this team needs to do NOW before the season slips away 🔔 Subscribe for our daily Phillies coverage, MLB analysis, and Philadelphia sports content!

  • Phillies Early Season A Rollercoaster, Successful West Coast Trip? I PHLY Phillies Podcast
    2026/04/08

The Philadelphia Phillies end a 6 game west coast trip today vs. the San Francisco Giants & we see if it was a successful road trip out west before returning home to Philadelphia to face the Arizona DIamondbacks. Bryce Harper appears to have heated up on the trip, how did Trea Turner & Kyle Schwarber fare?

The Phillies bullpen got a shot of energy when Orion Kerkering came off the injured list yesterday and the Phillies bullpen is looking like one of the best in baseball.

The Philadelphia Phillies were shut out 6-0 by the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night, and it wasn't pretty. Cristopher Sánchez lasted just 5 innings, allowing 11 hits and 4 runs, while the Phillies' offense could only muster 4 hits against Robbie Ray. Two errors in the field didn't help either — raising real questions about where this team is headed early in the 2026 season. In this video, we break down what went wrong, what Sánchez needs to fix, and whether Phillies fans should be worried — or if history says this team bounces back.

  • Phillies Take Another Series But Bryce Harper Is Starting Slow I PHLY Phillies Podcast
    2026/04/06

The Phillies took the Colorado series 2-1, outscoring the Rockies 13-6 across three games at Coors Field — including a dominant 10-1 blowout in the opener. Now they pack their bags and head west for a three-game set against the San Francisco Giants starting Monday night. We break down what went right, what went wrong, and what to watch for on the road trip.

🔴 BRYCE HARPER'S SLOW START — Harper opened the year going 2-for-24 (.083) through his first five games, but he snapped the slump in a big way with a 424-foot solo shot against Washington. Is the franchise player finally heating up, or is there still cause for concern? We dive into the approach and what it means for the lineup.

🔴 ZACK WHEELER REHAB UPDATE — The three-time All-Star is working his way back from thoracic outlet decompression surgery and the Phillies are still targeting an April return. His second rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley was rough on paper — five runs allowed — but his defense didn't do him any favors, with a fly ball dropping between two outfielders to blow open the inning MLB. Thomson has confirmed Wheeler will need a fourth rehab start before rejoining the rotation. We break down what we saw and what to expect.

🔴 BRANDON MARSH IS LOCKED IN — Marsh has a hit in all eight games he's started this season and his .303 average since last May ranks fifth among all MLB players with 400+ plate appearances. Manager Rob Thomson is crediting a "Schwarber approach" — thinking left-center, staying on the ball. Marsh describes it as "controlled aggression." Whatever it is, it's working — and he announced himself in Colorado with a 454-foot bomb, the longest home run of his career.

🔴 ADOLIS GARCÍA'S HOT START — The new right fielder signed on a one-year, $10M deal to replace Nick Castellanos and he's been impressive early. García is hitting .318 with a home run, and the advanced metrics back it up — a 96.8 mph average exit velocity with a .314 xBA and .460 xSLG. The $10 million reclamation bet is looking good so far.
