In this episode of the Curt Landry Podcast, Rabbi Curt and Pastor Michael discuss sustaining spiritual momentum between Passover and Shavuot. The sustaining power is not found in trying harder, but in surrender and alignment with God, like-minded community, and mentorship. After a spiritual high, we can feel exhausted and depleted, even after a victory. We need recovery and rest–to remember the battle belongs to God, and that there is provision for every step of our journey.
As we press through the wilderness into the promised land, the Holy Spirit will identify old habits and patterns that cannot go into the next season. We must cut soul ties from our past, reject a slave mentality, and trust God in the in-between.
