This week, we will reflect on episodes 1-9.

The PC team is fasting this week, and you are welcome to join us. We will meditate on Hebrews 11 & Hebrews 12. We’re praying for strengthened faith and clarity and revelation on our journey, and into the next.

PC Corporate Consecration:

We will fast from 3am-4pm daily, and No eating during that time but be in constant meditation on the word of God. (If you must have something to hold you over or have special needs for your medical health, please stick to fruit & veggie only, and do not over indulge.)No eating after 8pm at night.

Please seek diligently, and remember to feast on the living & Holy word of God as temptation arises. Remember, and be encouraged that anytime temptation is present, there also lies an escape. Here are a few scriptures to go by;

•1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

•Matthew 26:41 “Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”

•James 1:12 “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

On this week's episode, Jae discusses the discomfort of addressing a sensitive topic, and the conviction she experienced to talk about it. Sexual immorality can have a great affect on one's life, and in this case Jae shares how it started in her childhood, led to enslavement, lustful addiction, spiritual blindness, and many other strongholds. The importance of transparency and deliverance from sexual sin is emphasized, along with the spiritual significance of being hidden in Christ, rather than hiding in crisis. This episode is "unorthodox" and doesn't agree with the ways of culture, but is Biblically sound, and rooted in faith.

In this week's episode, Jae brings back Pastor Freddie Cole Sr, closing off the conversation on how un-forgiveness will keep you bound, and now highlighting the benefits of forgiveness. There is a divine nature of forgiveness and it has a life changing impact on others. The command from Christ was to love and forgive portraying being made in his image. True forgiveness gives us a heightened experience of intimacy with God because of it's lightness and is commonality characteristic of holiness. While it can be a challenge, there is also healing power of forgiveness. The reward of forgiving is much greater and more satisfying than not forgiving. The act of forgiving comes with the realization that everyone deserves mercy as self does. To heal we learn to identify that we are indeed hurt, and seek true healing from the one who holds all power.

In this episode of Purposely Crossed, Jae speaks on the revelation God gave of isolation, spiritual growth, and the purpose of coming out of isolation. It delves into the notion that isolation is not meant to be permanent, but is significantly important for the building of character traits of Christ. Jae use's her testimony of her weight loss journey and how God guided her to the knowledge of "dead weight" keeping you from the places you're actually destined for. While isolation is in fact necessary for preparation, there must be actual moves made in order to fulfill the defeat of Goliath, in whatever way he appears in our lives. In conclusion, this conversation emphasizes the work of God and the need to come out of isolation to fulfill that work.

This conversation is part 2 of "Trusting God's plans". Balancing life, parenthood, marriage, and ministry, can be a struggle, but requires an active prayer life. Trauma and stress, often impacts the love, affection, and communication in marriage when you don't have the proper strategy of healing. The Holy Spirit is our greatest support in maneuvering through life's challenges. Grace is highlighted in rediscovering one's self in relationships, and works with loving others as Christ loves, and seeing other's as Christ's creation. In this walk of faith, it is important too remember that God uses every detail in life in his planned Will. Every single thing happens for a reason, guided by God's plan and purpose in life.
