概要

Rent Free, hosted by Anthony Tucker (aka Tuck), is a safe space to discuss the short-term and long-term randomness that lives rent free in our minds. Think about it, have you ever been held captive by involuntary thoughts of pure randomness when you're starring off into the abyss when you should be focused on the more pressing matters in front of you? If you answered yes to that question, then welcome to your safe space full of people just like you. Subscribe today to Rent Free and submit your ideas for what should be covered next on Rent Free. • Episode 2 - WNBA Tulsa Shock
    2026/04/09

On episode 2 of Rent Free, Tuck discusses how a Facebook Marketplace purchase of ‪WNBA‬ gear led to a deep dive into how the ‪City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Pro Hoops LLC ownership group brought the 3x WNBA Champions, the Detroit Shock, and moved them to Tulsa from 2010-2015. This Tulsa Shock story starts the ownership group hiring the head coach of the 1994 NCAA Champion Arkansas Razorbacks, Nolan Richardson, before the hopeful city had neither gained the rights for an expansion WNBA franchise or acquired an existing WNBA franchise. The commitment level was 40 Minutes of Hell type of strong before a ball had even been bounced on the court at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. From the depths of despair amidst an economic recession and the loss of their beloved owner, the Detroit Shock, for an undisclosed fee, would relocated to Tulsa and forever change the landscape of women's basketball in the region. This WNBA story would end in a messy breakup and undeniable heartbreak, as the Tulsa Shock would leave Tulsa for the bright lights of the state's southern neighbors in Dallas, Texas. From the Detroit Shock to the Tulsa Shock to the now Dallas Wings, the franchise has been thriving in the Lone Star State since 2016 and looks to make the big move from nearby Arlington to downtown Dallas in 2027.As the Wings celebrate their 11th year since their departure from Tulsa, the WNBA announced its return to Detroit by 2029, and unfortunately, the iconic orange and white game ball of the WNBA looks far out of reach of the WNBA fans in the Sooner State of Oklahoma.Help host, Anthony Tucker, as he seeks to tell the story of the Shock franchise and its 6-year tenure in Tulsa in his new project, Tulsa Shock: The Legacy Left Behind. Anthony is seeking to develop a long form documentary that features Shock Stories from fans, coaches, staff, ownership, players, spirit squad, and media. To leave your Shock Story and support the Tulsa Shock: The Legacy Left Behind project, visit https://TulsaShock.com.

  • Episode 1 - Mazzio's Eddie the Yeti Pizza Campaign
    2026/04/07

The full episode of my new show Rent Free is officially here!

The show is a safe space to discuss the short-term and long-term randomness that lives rent free in our minds.

On episode 1 we discuss my lifelong struggle with how trash is collected and recycled in America, the mafia’s involvement in waste management according to the Sopranos, and what might be the most addictive pizza marketing campaign of my life, Mazzio's Eddie the Yeti.

And yes, Eddie the Yeti is a rare Italian decent Yeti who crushes two foot long Mazzio’s pizza 🍕.

    Welcome to Rent Free.
