    After 16 years away from riding, Aleisha returned to the saddle two years ago and made the bold decision to purchase and train her own horse, Spice. Michi, a professional trainer and owner of Tyson Performance Horses, brings years of experience and a passion for reined cow horse that began after watching a demonstration in 2018.

    Together, they offer an honest and unfiltered look at the realities of training, competing, and developing the mindset required to stay committed to a long-term goal.

    This episode explores the importance of self-belief, patience, emotional regulation, gratitude, and separating personal identity from competition results. Aleisha and Michi also discuss the difference between simply taking lessons and receiving genuine coaching, where mindset, mental health, mentorship, and performance are all part of the conversation.
