Welcome to the ‘The Midnight Debrief’

A new kind of episode featuring a new Host, Steph Williams, the midnight debrief spin off series focuses on the role of caring alongside MND,

Like myself Steph is a ‘carer’ Steph cares for her husband Mark, she is a Mum, Wife, MND advocate supporting families through Steph and Mark’s foundation the MNDefiance Trust.

Steph and I have become close friends as we navigate this ‘Shit Show’ of a Journey that is MND, during this time Steph and I often message each other at all hours, normally around midnight, discussing our day or what tomorrow will hold in store, so we thought, lets take these to the podcast.

We will be talking all things caring, parenting, friends and family, Holidays, MND Community, finances, relationships and intimacy.

We will be talking about some very serious topics, but what I can guarantee is that you will be laughing alongside us and the occasional tear.

We would love to have you involved in our conversation so please ask any questions and will will be sure to talk about these on the podcast.

Steph and I look forward to sharing more of our journey, stories, our successes and absolutely our mistakes or Fuck up’s as we like to call them

A warning…there will be some explicit language used during the episodes.

    Thank you

Welcome to SpeakUrMND podcast a Foreword by Anna,

SpeakUrMND has evolved, SpeakUrMND was a place for me to share my family's experience living alongside MND, but what I've always known is that everyone's journey is unique, everyone has a different 'Why', everyone has a story to tell, I've been so inspired by the individuals I have met on this journey and would like them to SpeakTheirMND

What makes us get out of bed every morning to face MND head on.

What's been the biggest challenges to overcome.

What makes you laugh?, what makes you Cry?

It's MND Awareness but goes a little deeper, there will be laughter and a ton of tears I'm sure.

We will be chatting to some amazing individuals from the MND community, Warriors, Carers, Family & Friends, Fundraisers, Health and Social Care professionals, charities any one with a story to tell and knowledge to share,

I really hope you enjoy these episodes

Hopefully through these podcasts you will finish leaving uplifted, motivated, educated and an a better understanding of life alongside MND for individuals, carers and the wider MND community.
