Tonight was one for the books as Texas Rich from C10 America jumped on the Pedal to the Metal Motors & Music Podcast with Jokester and world-famous Roller Jeff Richards out of Parker, Colorado for an hour-and-a-half conversation packed full of stories, history, vision, laughter, hot rods, music, and everything that makes this C10 community special.

Roller reached out around 7PM Central and invited us onto the show, and from the moment the microphones turned on, it felt like a couple of old friends sitting around talking trucks, life, and the road that led to building one of the fastest-growing C10 communities in the country.

We talked about how C10 America first started back in 2022 on the back porch of my dad’s house in Fort Worth, Texas — just an idea, a vision, and a passion for old trucks and the people behind them. From there, the conversation dove deep into the journey… from the early magazine days in California, the inspiration behind launching my first hot rod magazine, the lessons learned along the way, and how those experiences eventually led to the birth of C10 America.

We also talked about where the group is today and how unbelievable the growth has been. Sitting right around 85.5K members and climbing fast, there’s a real possibility we could hit 90,000 members by July 4th. Our buddy Scott even called it live on the show — and honestly, with the momentum this community has right now, it just might happen.

The conversation wasn’t just about numbers though. It was about people. Blue-collar passion. Faith. Family. The love of classic trucks. The stories behind the builds. The friendships formed along the way. And why this movement has become so much bigger than just old sheet metal and horsepower.

Rich talks about skipping the live show this morning while making preparations for the Rat Pack Car Show in Gail, Texas, hosted by Dale Turnbow, David Molina, and the Rat Pack Car Club. The event is expected to bring together an incredible lineup of classic rides, truck enthusiasts, and Rat Pack members from across Texas.

One of the things Rich looks forward to most is shooting photography around the old-school backdrops and scenery in Gail, creating that gritty vintage look that fits perfectly with classic trucks, hot rods, and custom builds. C10 America will be on-site shooting photography, capturing content for future magazine features, creating metal prints, and covering the event throughout the weekend.

Listeners interested in booking a professional truck or car photo shoot during the event can reach out directly. For this weekend only, Rich is offering a special flat-rate blowout deal of $199 for a full professional photo session at the Rat Pack show.

Rich also explains that all delivered images will include a C10 America copyright watermark/logo. For customers wanting watermark-free versions of selected images, there is a $25 fee per image to remove the visible copyright logo. However, C10 America and Rich Arthur Photography still retain the full copyright ownership and rights to all photographs. Customers are being granted permission to use the images personally and for promotion of their vehicles.

The episode also covers professional editing policies moving forward. If there’s something in the background of a photo that needs to be removed — such as another vehicle, object, distraction, or obstruction — those edits are not included unless discussed beforehand. Background removal and reconstruction work now carries a $50 per hour editing fee, which includes object removal and rebuilding or repairing the affected background areas.

Rich explains that editing work takes time and attention to detail, and after years of doing extensive edits for free, it’s important to properly value the time and craftsmanship involved in professional image retouching.

The episode also celebrates another huge milestone for the community after officially reaching 86,000 members inside the C10 America Facebook group just two days ago.
