  • Write It Out
    2026/03/31

This episode invites you to try something simple—but surprisingly challenging: write out a full explanation of a scientific phenomenon or concept using only what you know right now. No notes, no shortcuts.

As you do, you might find yourself getting stuck, circling back, or realizing there are parts you can’t quite explain yet—and that’s the point. This process helps you uncover gaps in your understanding before they show up in your teaching.

By taking time to notice where you need to dig deeper, you can better anticipate where students might struggle and walk into your classroom with more clarity and confidence.

You may be surprised by what you do understand—and what still needs a closer look.
