We start with the big season patterns I’m seeing across the Crunchyroll spring anime season, including a strong mix of isekai, school-life stories, and a growing streak of suspense that feels closer to psychological thriller and “game” tension than standard action. From there, I get specific about the sequels I’m most excited to watch: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4, ReZero Starting Life in Another World Season 4, and Classroom of the Elite Season 4 (Second Year, First Semester). A movie can be messy and still be fun, but The Wicker Man (2006) is a special kind of mess: it walks in dressed like a suspense mystery and leaves as a folk horror remake powered almost entirely by Nicolas Cage’s intensity.
