概要

Welcome back to Sober Friends of NY podcast. Our location has changed, our team has grown, and we are excited to finally kick off our podcast again. Sober Friends and Jody Out Loud have teamed up once more to bring viewers real life stories of their experiences with SUD and recovery.

We are dedicated to spreading the message of living a lifestyle of recovery and we know the power of people sharing their truth. These episodes are real, raw, authentic, and individualized. They consist of special guests diving into their own story with addiction and overcoming or family members and friends alike who were on the other side and had to watch their loved one(s) struggle.

Sober Friends is a recovery center based out of New York, USA. If you're interested in supporting the movement, visit SoberFriends.me. Please subscribe to our YouTube channel where you can watch all episodes.

  • Emotional Sibling Perspective
    2026/04/09

This was a particularly meaningful episode, especially for Jody and her brother David. They describe this as a “family disease,” since SUD impacts not just the individual, but everyone who cares about them. Jody, David, and Danny also shared extensively about their past experiences from their perspectives during the days in active addiction. Sober Friends of NY and Jody Out Loud are eager to continue spreading awareness to SUD and recovery. Please support us by subscribing to our YouTube channel to watch real, raw, conversations.
