Well, hello there Space Heads and Pickle Aficionados 🥒
To kick off this first yarn in style, we visit the fabled Last Station Before the Gnarliest of the Gnarlies, property of one Crowley, man of mystery (and few words).
Meet dashing Space Jockey Blaze as he tries to bargain his way into free fuel with the phlegmatic Crowley, who might or might not have a service to ask in exchange.
Genre: weird science-fiction, comedy

How did I come up with the Space Pickles you wonder? In a very fun, roundabout way.
My compadres over at Mod Hob Cooperative and I have been collaborating for a while now, you see. We share the same deep waters, and birds of a feather tend to flock together, you get the idea.
They are the smart kids behind Plotweaver: Cards of Creation, amongst others, and a great way to enjoy this storytelling marvel of a game is to get together and have at it with a Play and Ponder session.
The name says it all. You play, that is craft a narrative based on the cards the system throws your way, and share it with the others. Then we all ponder together over what we discovered through those narratives.
The Space Pickles are the product of just such a session.
That night, the deck threw me interesting cards, and what can I say, I just ran with it and had a blast! First foray for me into Sci-Fi for this author, but why oh why did it take me so long? 😜
The gang will be launching their game on Gamefound very soon, and I highly encourage you to check them out and secure yourself a copy (or two) of Plotweaver: Cards of Creation.

The Gnarlies know what kind of a story gem you might get out of this smart game!
